We arrange captioned performances on selected shows. Dialogue, sound effects, and lyrics are displayed in English on text screens.
Some performances and films are described for those with a visual impairment. Infrared headsets can be requested from the Front of House team before the performance commences.
Relaxed performances are designed to welcome anyone who may benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment, (including autistic people, people living with dementia, and those who experience anxiety or sensory overwhelm). Adjustments include reduced lighting and sound intensity, with fewer unexpected sensory effects. Audience members are welcome to make noise and move during the performance and can leave and re-enter the space as needed.
